Everest Base Camp — just the name stirs up a sense of adventure, right? It’s a bucket-list trek that’s both challenging and rewarding, with some of the most breathtaking scenery you’ll ever see. But the key to enjoying this trek? Being prepared with the right gear.

At LHO, we’ve been up there a few times and in the decade that we’ve been taking our teams to the region we’ve been adapting our gear lists and recommendations to keep up with the changing facilities available along the way. Here’s a straightforward rundown of what to pack.
