Hege’s life changed dramatically when she discovered kayaking. What started as a hobby quickly became a lifeline, reigniting her spirit and giving her a renewed sense of purpose. This passion led her to establish her own accommodation and adventure outfitter in Norway, exclusively partnered with us at LHO.

A key part of Hege’s journey was her struggle with epilepsy and stress. Her previous lifestyle made it tough to find balance and peace. However, immersing herself in outdoor activities, especially kayaking, played a crucial role in managing her epilepsy and significantly reducing her stress levels. The calm and focus required for kayaking provided a therapeutic outlet, helping her regain control over her health and well-being.

Hege and LHO started our journeys around the same time, supporting and growing with each other from the beginning. Our partnership has blossomed into a deep friendship and a sense of family, strengthening both Hege’s business and our own mission. Together, we offer unparalleled outdoor experiences on Senja.
